4 hour $80 Challenge Introduction
Today we will focus on establishing content and reviewing our product and starting to promote our blog. In order to establish a presence quickly we will promoting our site on other sites and through syndication services rather then search engine based methods. Our longer term goal will be to attract search engine traffic but this is unrealistic in the short term.
Review your product
The first step will be reviewing the product that you have selected. It is important that in the review to focus on the unique features that differentiate your product. Remember that the goal of the review is to provide detailed information and to really sell the product to the reader. You should aim to include relevant visual and graphical aids in the review process.
Add free PLR or CC licensed content
In order to make your site more authoritative you should aim to include five to ten PLR or CC licensed articles. You can find these article for free on the Internet. Be aware if you use CC articles you must take not of the licence and follow the terms. As in the future we want to attract traffic from search engines we will need to partially rewrite the articles to avoid Google’s duplicate content filters.
Word Flood Tool
WordFlood is a tool that makes article rewriting and content production simple. Below is a screenshot of WordFlood in action.
WordFlood allows for point and click rewriting of articles, synonyms for words are automatically generated in list form and you can choose the word that best fits the sentence. WordFlood displays the word count, keyword density and the percent you have changed the article compared to the original. You really need to try this application for yourself to see the power. We can see that the article is now 26% different to the original article and this was achieved in just minutes.
Generate Description keywords and 125×125 Image
The next step is pretty self explanatory, you will need to generate a short description of your site that you can uses when signing up to various services. A sample of my description is shown below:
ZoneTick aims to provide Forex or foreign currency traders with the best time conversion and syncing tools on the market. ZoneTick allows users to accurately track multiple time zones and place trades more efficiently.
We will also determine some key words we want to use to describe our site. My keywords include:
- World Time.
- World Time Clock.
- Time.
- Time Conversion.
- Currency.
- Forex.
- Trading.
Most syndication services require a 125×125 pixel ad so we will quickly generate one that we can use at some point in the future. A great resource for royalty free images is SXC. The image below was created in little under a minute:
